I am sitting here listening to "The young and the Hopless" which is Good Charlotte's brand new cd in stores now which features "Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous". Its Oct. 5th and I have had the cd since 3:34 on the after noon of Oct.1st... the only time I could get it. My favorite songs on the cd are .... ALL OF THEM!!! Now for an actual review...since the beginning was really crappy.
Good Charlotte's New CD "The Young and the Hopeless" really displays how much Good Charlotte has changed since their first album "Good Charlotte". There songs range from going against the norm ("the anthem") to killing people ("My bloody Valentine") to a heart felt song that made me cry my eyes out ("emotionless"). No matter who you are and how your feeling you can relate to something on this album. There are a lot of things in common with the last album, also. For example, the both have a song to cheer you up "motivation proclamation" from Good Charlotte or " Hold On" from The Young And The Hopeless. But the one thing they have in common is that they both totally rock. All the songs written by the Madden brothers all totally RULE!!! Wheter its a song writen for cashdog or a song for that special someone of theirs they know their shit. They can write like NO OTHER. Eric Valentine had part in the creation of this album...well to be excact he was the producer but that doesn't matter. Go out and buy the Cd...if not for the music or the SPECIAL BEHIND THE SCENES FOOTAGE than buy it for the boys... the totally deserve your support and they have worked their hardest to represent us in their music so go out and represent them in anyway you can.
Rock on and spread the GC,
Cat "Madden" Vann!!!
